Custom Metal Fabrication

RJ Machine Works provides a full range of custom metal fabrication, including welding, sawing, shearing, punching, forming, plasma cutting, Laser Cutting, and waterjet cutting. 

We work with flat, round, square, oval, rectangular, and angled stock in mild steel, galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, chrome, and nickel alloys.


Fabrication, cutting, and welding are completed at a single facility, which supports consistent quality from initial cut through final inspection and allows us to handle both precision components and heavy structural steel and plate.

[01] PIPING FABRICATION

PRESSURE Piping Fabrication

RJ Machine Works supplies pipeline packages for onshore and offshore oilfield applications, including process piping spools, pipeline senders and receivers, and pipeline bypass systems. Fabrication is completed to the applicable codes:

❯  Category A, B, E & H fittings manufactured to CSA B51

[02] STEEL FABRICATION

STRUCTURAL STEEL FABRICATION

Structural steel is strong, stable, and economical, which makes it a common choice for large-scale industrial and construction projects. RJ Machine Works offers full design-to-build fabrication of complex steel structures, supported by engineering and 3D CAD modeling. Quality-control checks are completed before drawings are issued and again at the cutting, welding, and assembly stages, and all welders and inspectors are CWB certified.


We also fabricate skids and rigid sub-structures for modular installations. Skids can be configured for solid foundations such as concrete or packed gravel, for drilled piles in more permanent installations, or for sling lifting and flat-deck transport, which is common in the oilfield.

Pressure Vessel Fabrication

RJ Machine Works is experienced in the design and manufacture of large, complex pressure vessels. Our facility is ABSA certified, with capabilities up to 21 feet in diameter, 70 feet in length, 8 inches thick, and 160,000 lbs. Vessels can be custom designed and manufactured for a wide range of processes.

Every vessel is ABSA (Alberta Boilers Safety Association) certified. Building beyond the minimum requirement helps keep job sites running and protects the safety of crews and assets.

[04] PLASMA CUTTING

CNC Plasma Cutting

Plasma cutting uses an accelerated jet of hot plasma to cut conductive materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. Our system uses Computer Numerical Control (CNC) to cut material to precise specifications and to replicate parts consistently.


We can also design and digitize parts, logos, silhouettes, scenery, and other artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and other applications, then cut them in-house. Completing design and cutting at one facility supports competitive pricing.

[05] WATERJET CUTTING

WATERJET CUTTING

Waterjet (water) cutting is an environmentally friendly alternative to plasma cutting. It offers higher accuracy than plasma and does not create a heat-affected zone, so no cutting stresses are introduced into the material. The process can be carried out on thicker materials with CNC precision.

Laser Plate Cutting

20 kW laser, 1500mm x 3000mm table cut up to 80mm, bevel cutting available. A single-work-table open-type fiber laser cutting machine is designed for high-precision sheet metal processing. It provides efficient cutting at optimal speed using a fiber laser.
